Volunteer Opportunities

Volunteers play an important role in supporting our mission to provide individual and family services. The staff at ELAFRC is deeply appreciative of the volunteers who make the commitment to be part of the ELAFRC family. ELAFRC volunteers make a difference in the lives of individuals and families with children with disabilities by offering emotional support, encouragement and a listening ear. ELAFRC can use volunteer support with general office duties, advisory council membership, special events and other activities. If you are interested in volunteering, please contact us at (626)300-9171 or Public Contact

Project Leadership

Project Leadership is a parent and self advocate training program with an overall goal to increase the number of individuals who are prepared and supported to become advocates for health care policy and service improvements. The Project Leadership curriculum introduces parents and self advocates to the nuts and bolts of advocacy in a seven-session training series.
